I read The Diary OF A Young Girl written by Anne Frank.

Anne Frank lived happily with her family and went to junior high school with her friends. However, Geramany who was conducted by Hittler invaded her living place because she was Jew. She escaped from her living place, and she went to Holland. She hided in secret building there for about two years. She was in conflict with people who lived there, especially a boyfriend. And a few times the secret place was likely to be found, of course if the place was found, they would be caputured and killed. There were many tough situations, but her family cooperated with for many difficult situations, and strrugled to live. The effort impressed me.
