Should more immigrant be allowed to live in Japan?

The decreasing of a country population is a critical problem now. Many developed countries including Japan face on the problem. If population is dropped, some bad effects will arise, for instance less power of GDP level which is now high ranking for Japan. To solve this important problem, Japan should allow more immigrants to live in Japan.
Some people say that they are worried about the increase of criminal rate if foreigners are allowed to live in Japan. In fact, some foreigners committed crimes in Japan. These days, there was a news that the robbers who came from China entered the house illegally, and stole much money. They cooperated with some Japanese, and they aimed at elderly house. Some immigrants who are low- paid –workers may commit a crime when they need money to live.
However, in the different aspect, to accept immigrants is beneficial for Japan. Immigrants who work at Japan companies possibly have the remarkable talents that Japanese do not have. The ability would help the development of Japan. The worldwide network is tightly connected in each country now, so each country has the responsibility for making the economic right order. If not, countries in the world take a bad effect like sub-prime problem. Each country needs to have worldwide view and cooperate with each other. This view is gained by some immigrants who know foreign countries deeply.
There is another benefit for allowing the immigrants to live in Japan. Japan is island, so Japan tends to exclude people who different from Japanese. However, by introduction of the Inter Net, people in the world are closed. Of course, Japan is not exception for that. Japan should be interested in foreigners and foreign countries to understand them. To have a good relation with many countries is useful for Japan to the future. Japan should change the diplomatic policy that Japan only relied on America.
The fact that immigrants are not many in Japan is not change. Most of Japanese are not used to be related with foreigners, so some Japanese may have prejudice for foreigners who came from developing countries. If immigrants are discriminated, they will complain about the discrimination, and someday they may become mobs against Japan society. Developed countries such as England and France etc, have the problem about immigrants. Japan also may have the similar problem, if Japan accepts more immigrants.
Nowadays, the world was small by the Inter Net. People in the world need to cooperate to solve the big problem, like global warming. Even we need to understand different cultures and races. To allow immigrants is the first step for it. Japanese no longer island people. Japanese have to pay more attention to foreign countries and people.
