Question: Summarize the main ideas stated in the lecture you just listened to, explaining how those ideas differ from the reading passage.

Answer: The lecture said that Formicidae is 150,000 species in the world. The living systems are divided into two groups. The first system is intergrated system. This system is used by ants and so on. Ants cooperate with other ants to progress the same goal. Young ants and old ants coexist in the nest. The roles that young ants do are different from old ants. However, they cooperate for the sake of the nest. Their life is more secure than solitary species, because they can depend on each other.
The second system is solitary system. The system is used by bees and so on. After a mother born her child, the mother died. As a result, the child needs to live in the earth as a solitary insect. The young insects build his nest by himself, and grow the egg, too. Their life is less secure than intergrated species, because they have to do anything by themselves.
